Shadowplay: Pale Ale

Seeing is believing and this shadow on the wall isn’t just a projection – it’s a hazy pale ale from Avling. Feeling a sense of calm after our first unbroken year of operations (finally!), we went and made a beer we thought we’d never make.
Shadowplay features our favourite hops atop a simple base of malt and oats. Passionfruit, kumquat, and melon fly from the glass and crash onto the palate, while a low bitterness and smooth acidity keep things bright and quenching. Its fluffy texture and full body support a rich and evolving tropical profile with apricot and yuzu notes arriving late.
