Calm Sea: Ontario Pale Ale

from $3.80

Calm Sea is a dry-hopped pale ale which uses Chinook hops from Highland Hop Yard in Meaford, which is right on Georgian Bay. Calm Sea is the early name of Georgian Bay on historical European maps, which is why Brandon landed on this name. Calm Sea is a hazy, soft, and structured pale ale. The haze is a result of the amount of malt the brewery team puts in the beer. On the nose, Calm Sea comes in strong with notes of pineapple, followed by grapefruit and sweet honey.  These notes carry to the palette–finishing with a slight sweetness that ends dry with some acidity.
